Dec 15 (Reuters) - A former Texas police officer has been charged with the death of a black woman
was found guilty of murder by a jury,
who was shot to death from the window of her home in October 2019, prosecutors said.
Attiana Jefferson, 28, was shot by Aaron Dean, a white officer in Fort Worth,
He was standing in his house with a handgun when he heard noises outside.
Afterwards, Dean resigns from the force and the police later charge him with murder.
The officer and his companion went to Jefferson's house,
That's when a concerned neighbor called police to find that her front door was unlocked.
she was playing video games with her eight year old nephew,
When Dean arrived and crawled to the back of the house,
The gun was pulled out, according to his arrest warrant and bodycam video.
